Open Water Diver

Get your scuba diving certification with the PADI Open Water Diver course - the world's most popular and widely recognized scuba course. Once you've completed the course you'll be able to dive 18 meters deep, showing your PADI Open Water Certification card. To enrol you must have adequate swimming skills, be at least 10 years old and in good physical health. No prior experience is required. Similans Open Water Course

4 days / 4 nights: dive the best of Thailand with a trip to the Similans Marine Park (available 15 October - 10 May).

Relaxed pool or confined water training session.

2 training dives at Thailand's top shore dive site, Kata Reef

2 training dives, 1 night adventure dive and 4 fun dives from a liveaboard inside the Similans.

PADI Dive Courses Phuket

Sample schedule

Day 1
Independent study and/or classroom to go over the theory in the Open Water Diver Course manual in the morning. Head to the pool to complete your confined water training dives. The instructor will teach the required skills needed to safely dive in the ocean.

Day 2
Meet at the Dive Center at 8:30am. You will do two dives at Kata Reef and complete the necessary skills underwater and on the surface. The is followed by classroom work and an exam.

Day 3
Pick up between 7:30 - 8:00 am from your hotel and transferred to Chalong pier. Board a spacious, comfortable dive boat on which will have a light breakfast, buffet style lunch, fruit, tea and coffee. You will do 2 or 3 dives at a chosen location (Racha Yai Island, Racha Noi Island or Phi Phi Islands) and complete the necessary skills underwater and on the surface. Then more fun underwater exploration. You will be transferred back to your hotel from Chalong pier around 4:00 - 7:00 pm.

Requirements
You need to be able to swim non-stop for 200 meters and maintain yourself in deep water for at least 10 minutes; you must be at least 10 years old and in good general health.
