The PADI Rescue Diver course helps you become not only a self-rescuer but capable of assisting other divers and non-divers. It is a very rewarding course that teaches useful and important information while practicing real-life rescue skills. Emergency First Response (CPR and First Aid) is also included in your training. Contact us for details about group and familiy discounts, or book and confirm in advance for FREE accommodation. Prices include rental equipment, PADI e-manual and certification fees. There are no hidden costs!

Emergency First Response – Primary & Secondary Courses
Designed for PADI Rescue Divers or Divemasters, teachers, sailors or anyone needing a 2 year certification credit to continue or apply for employment.
9 primary skills and 4 secondary skills (Optional skill: AED use).
Emergency First Response examination and certification.
1 day course.
Also available for add-on or stand-alone certification: Emergency First Response – Care for Children & Infants, CPR & AED and Refresher courses.
The course includes PADI and EFR certification fees, manuals, scuba equipment rental, diving insurance, and transfers to/from hotel on boat diving days (if in Kata, Karon or Patong area).
Sample schedule
Day 1
Independent study and/or classroom work with our instructor to go over the theory in the Rescue Diver Course and Emergency First Response manuals.
After theory you will practice the skills required for the Emergency First Response course.
The final exam will follow training at the end of the day.
Day 2
You will demonstrate and practice the required training exercises underwater and on the surface.
For the summer season, pick up between 7:30 - 8:30 am from your hotel and transfer to Chalong pier.
Next, board a spacious, comfortable dive boat on which you will be served a light breakfast, buffet style lunch, fruit, tea, coffee and drinking water, all free.
You will be transferred back to your hotel from Chalong pier around 3:30 - 4:00 pm.
Day 3
You will manage two diving incident scenarios: underwater and on the surface.
For the summer season, pick up between 7:30 - 8:30 am from your hotel and transfer to Chalong pier.
Next, board a spacious, comfortable dive boat on which you will be served a light breakfast, buffet style lunch, fruit, tea, coffee and drinking water, all free.
You will be transferred back to your hotel from Chalong pier around 3:30 - 4:00 pm.
Requirements
Course participants must hold PADI Advanced Open Water Diver certification (or equivalent from other organization) and be EFR certified EFR within the previous 24 months.
